On the last Wednesday of November in the year prior to a new Council vacancy, the Registrar will notify eligible members, by email, of the upcoming call for nominations. On the second Wednesday of December in the year prior to a new Council vacancy, the Registrar will then announce, by email to eligible members, the open call for nominations.

Eligible members may express their interest in Council membership through a self-nomination process, by submitting a current resume or curriculum vitae (C.V.) and responses to theĀ  Candidate Questionnaire. Answers should be no longer than 500 words or one page, single-spaced, with 12-point font. The completed documents must be received by the Registrar via mail, fax or email on or before midnight on the last Wednesday in January. The documents should be sent to:

The Registrar
Suite 100 - 1964 Park Street,
Regina, SK, S4N 7M5
Fax: 306-584-9695
Email: info@saskpharm.ca

The documents provided by each nominee will be forwarded to the Human Resources and Governance Committee (HRGC) for assessment against a Council-approved rubric. In addition to this assessment, the HRGC may conduct interviews with the nominees prior to recommending appointment to Council. The HRGC will provide their recommendations for appointment at the May or June Council meeting.

The SCPP will notify nominees, by email, on or before the last day of April of the appointment year, that their names will be recommended for appointment by Council at the May or June Council meeting.

Council will review the HRGC's recommendations at the May or June Council meeting. New Council members will be notified, in writing, shortly after Council approval is received.
